Terms & conditions
The plain-language terms for using our website and working with NovaTek. Last updated 25 October 2026.
About these terms
These terms apply when you browse this website, send us an enquiry, or hire NovaTek (“we”, “us”) to design, build or support a website, online store, software product or automation (“the work”). If a signed proposal or contract says something different from these terms, the signed document wins for that project.
How projects are agreed
Every project starts with a written scope. It sets out what we'll deliver, the price, the schedule and what's not included. Work begins only after you approve it in writing (email counts).
If you'd like something that isn't in the scope, we'll tell you what it would cost and how it changes the timeline before doing it. Nothing extra is billed without your written approval.
Prices and payment
Prices, payment stages and due dates are set out in your proposal. Unless it says otherwise, invoices are due within the period stated on them. We may pause work while a due invoice is unpaid, and we'll tell you before we do.
Prices don't include fees charged by other companies, such as domain names, hosting, app subscriptions, payment processing or paid plugins, unless your proposal says they do.
Your part
- Give us the content, access and decisions the project needs, in good time. Delays on either side move the schedule.
- Make sure you have the right to use anything you send us, such as text, images, logos and data.
- Review previews and tell us what needs changing within the review rounds agreed in the scope.
- Keep your passwords and accounts secure once they're handed over to you.
Who owns what
Once the project is paid in full, you own the finished designs, the code written specifically for you, and every account we set up for you. We hand over access and the notes you need to run it.
Open-source software and tools stay under their own licences. Any general-purpose tools or code we already had before your project remain ours, and you get a permanent licence to use them as part of your work. We may mention that we worked with you, and show the work in our portfolio, only if you agree.
Other services we use
Projects often rely on other companies' services, for example hosting, Shopify, payment gateways, email or analytics. Their own terms apply to them, and we aren't responsible for their outages, price changes or policy decisions. We'll always tell you which ones your project depends on.
Fixes and support
If something we built doesn't work as the agreed scope describes, tell us within the support period stated in your proposal and we'll fix it at no charge. New features, changes made by others, and problems caused by third-party services aren't covered, but we're happy to quote for them. Ongoing support and maintenance can be arranged separately.
Confidentiality
We keep your business information, data and plans private, and only share them with people who need them to do the work. We'll sign a separate confidentiality agreement if you'd like one.
Limits of responsibility
We do the work with care and skill, but no software is completely free of faults. As far as the law allows, our total responsibility for any project is limited to the amount you paid us for it, and we aren't responsible for indirect losses such as lost profit, revenue or data. Nothing in these terms limits responsibility that the law doesn't allow to be limited.
Ending a project
Either of us can end a project with written notice. You pay for the work done up to that point, and we hand over everything completed so far once that payment is made.
Using this website
The content on this website is for general information. Please don't copy it, misuse the enquiry forms, or try to access parts of the site or our team portal you aren't authorised to use. The team portal is for NovaTek staff only.
Your information
When you send an enquiry we keep the details you give us, such as your name, email, phone number, company and message, so we can reply and, if you go ahead, run your project. We store a one-way, anonymised version of your IP address to stop spam; we never keep the address itself. We don't sell your information or use it for advertising. To see, correct or delete what we hold about you, email us. Our privacy policy has the full details.
Law and disputes
These terms are governed by the laws of Pakistan. If something goes wrong, please talk to us first; most problems are solved quickly that way. If we can't resolve it together, the courts of Pakistan will decide.
Changes and contact
We may update these terms from time to time; the date at the top shows the latest version. Changes don't affect projects already agreed. Questions? Email novatek360@gmail.com or message us on WhatsApp, or use the contact page.
